While we did go mid-week, during the offseason, the campground was very peaceful. The campground layout was great with all the sites set in a loop around a large grassy meadow. It's also close to so many great activities, which we found on www.roadsidesecrets.com, plus there's a tunnel to the Santa Ynez River with some really cool swimming holes and small beaches. Really feels like you're a world away, but you're only ~20 minutes from Santa Barbara if you need anything.

beautiful location. Only complaint is that the bathrooms were awful; they smell disgusting and don't appear to be cleaned often.

Beautiful, peaceful, and well-located. A large meadow surrounded by nicely spaced campsites and amazing ancient oaks.
