Nicely spaced out campground with with both shaded lots and without if you need solar. Made use of both the charcoal grill and the firepit

Paradise Campground offers a great camping experience, with clean facilities, friendly and professional camp hosts, and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, shaded sites and the campground's proximity to nature, including hiking and a nearby river. While there are some concerns about pests and occasional noise, overall, guests find it to be a lovely spot for relaxing getaways.

This campground has a good amount of shaded sites, a large open area in the middle, and is a good utilitarian place to rest if you're planning to go out onto the river. The restrooms are fine and have flush facilities. The sites are fairly close together, but it's clearly to get as many into shade as possible. Definitely not somewhere I'd go for a luxurious camping experience, but it's way cheaper than any hotels in the area and again, has excellent access to the river, just a short drive from the main gate.

The camping was great. I had all we needed and the camp host is very professional and kind. The campground was clean and everyone was quiet at quiet time. The bathrooms were decent. I will definitely be returning soon

Was at 001, clean bathrooms(flies but pretty inevitable). Wish there was more shade on our campsite. Vicious crows beware.

Nice secluded flat campground. My only gripe is that it is a bit run down. Most California campgrounds are.

We stayed in space 2. It was very spacious and very shaded. Our RV was shaded the entire time.

Our campsite, 8, was in a mostly shaded area next to the hill. There was poison oak, but easily avoidable. The campsites were spread out so it didn't feel crowded. The sites were cared for and clean. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of toilet paper.
The downsides of this campground: there were a lot of crows. If you weren't constantly watching your food, the crows would get it. They also started cawing around 6 am, very noisy. There were gnats and little flies there, but our mosquito netting took care of them.
No power at the sites.
