We go to dinkey creek every year and we just love the atmosphere there and the workers we have been coming here since i was a little girl and as i got married iand kids i took our family there since they were babies and they love going there and now we take our 3 oldest grandchildren there and they love it as well.

We took our grandkids and son (ages 10-12) on their very first camp experience. The campsite was under renovation so there was alot of trees down but we felt safe to let the kids go about and play in a group. The campsite was large enough for us to enjoy and cook over a campfire, setup table and chairs for 6, set-up 2 tents, and close enough to the restrooms which were very well kept. We were able to join a private tour hosted by a volunteer which was really incredible! The lakes were refreshing but very slippery. The only suggestion I have is more security shoild be at the shared spaces because there were some sketchy visitors that made our water visits short.

It's a great place to camp. You have fire pits, water, bathrooms, fun place to fish.

We reserved 4 sites for our 4th of July weekend stay. Sites were great and roomy. Our camp host started out friendly and went to being pushy, inconsiderate and rude. He didn't like having to clean and restock the bathrooms and was very vocal about it with quite a few campers, ourselves included. We also felt harrassed about the rule on charcoal grills. We checked before driving up (as we do every year) that they were permitted and were told yes. That had changed after we arrived and we were fine with that. We clearly had the grill strapped closed and off to the side. Every time he drove by to check it was in the same spot and were told we had to place it in a vehicle or we would be cited and could be asked to leave if we didn't comply. We explained that it wasn't being used and just being kept off to the side. Yet, we still received the same threat every time. We also had one site vacated a day early due to campers being noisy and vulgar way past the curfew time. Mind you, we had at least a dozen minors under the age of 12 that aren't exposed to such language. We tried to bring this to the attention of our host and were told it wasn't his business and he couldn't do anything about it. What is the purpose of a camp host? This will not deter us from camping here again, but it was a bad experience. Every other stay has been pleasant.

This campground is amazing! We went during the week and it was pretty empty. Check on the situation with the water before you go because we had no idea that there wasn’t potable water. (This changes). The water was so high in the creek that we couldn’t use the slides but still had a blast.

- Register at the campground office upon arrival.
- Reserved sites must be occupied or they will be forfeited.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
