The camp host made this whole trip! The new host are AMAZING! They run a clean, quiet and good camp ground. They were friendly, present and helpful. Came last year with different camp hosts and it was loud (screaming and yelling til at least 2 am almost every night).
And bonus... the water was super high this year! Right up to the tree line. We had a blast

Short walk to the lake, nice views, and quiet during the night. There’s a river nearby, it’s nice to explore the area. Also, there’s a boat ramp within 5 min driving, and the area is great to spend the day. Hosts were nice and friendly. The restroom was okay, no showers available.

we had a nice time, camphosts where great , bathrooms clean, campground quiet at nite, the only problem i saw was at the outhouse bathroom on the lower circle opposite campsite 31, 3 youngsters ages 5,6, and 2 where trying to get into a unlocked septic tank , i stopped them , told the parents and the camp hosts , it should be locked , even at this ages they could start to open it. a word to the wise is sufficient

Excellent campgrounds. The lake level was full making these campsites super close to the water. Just a short walk down the hill and you were at the waters edge. Clean bathrooms.

This was a quiet campground that is heavily treed and very close to the water. And, to our surprise, in June 2022 the water levels were very high. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful area to explore. There are not many beach spots to hang out by the lake, but we had a kayak and some floats we could hang out on. The campsites are spread out and pretty good size. We had some deer come through our site which was cool to see and there was a bald eagle in the area. All in all this is a nice spot to spend a weekend.
