Lovely location but unable to have a fire due to the dry conditions. Also no water at the sight was pretty unpleasant. Definitely going back during a different season since the views and location was amazing. I do wish they had showers in the future for camping with a longer stay.

We received notification that there was limited water at the site, but when we arrived there was actually no water at the campground. Made camping a little challenging. Then a very loud group came in in the middle of the night and was blaring music, yelling, and partying all night. They even took our kayaks out in the early morning. The next night they were a little quieter, but ran their generator all night and was still partying quite loudly, just without the music. Made for some very sleep deprived kids and parents. Super sad.

Nice campsites with spaces available in the summer even without a reservation. It's a short walk to the lake, where the water is very low this year. There are water shortages due to the drought and bathroom are not available.

We were notified in advance that we were not allowed to have camp fires - understandable. When we got there there was NO water. Understand we are in a drought, however we should have been notified of this as well. NO access to water of any kind. We would have done/packed/prepared SO differently had we known there was not going to be flush toilets', water for dishes, etc....

We had a few nights at our favorite campsite but were very disappointed. The previous visitor destroyed a large tree in the site. My guess is they broke firewood against it's bark and horribly wounded the tree. When I mentioned this to the host I got the feeling she couldn't care less. I also thought off-road vehicles were not permitted. Well that wasn't being enforced either. There were many, and they did not make any attempt to drive in and out of the campground quietly. Needlessly revving engines and exiting under full power. I don't want to sound like a grouch but our experience was bad. Please talk with the host or find one who cares about more than the paycheck. Thankyou

The camp host was wonderful. She brought our kids glow sticks each night. She helped them carry firewood to our camp when we sent them to buy it from her. She was just kind and friendly. Thanks for a fun weekend!

Camp host was excellent and friendly. Site next to us packed up Saturday night and didn't put their fire out before they left. Other than that a great weekend with good neighbors.
