The closest bathroom was not available, locked. One of the closest showers was broken. Other than that, a beautiful campground with large camping spots. Be aware of BEARS. Keep your food in the provided food lockers. Beras visits the campground nightly, and also keep your little dogs on leash and close by. Koytes are also frequent visitors.

Great campground. Great hosts. The reservation system makes it very difficult to get a spot. There must be a better way to run the system.

Great campground near Lake Tahoe without all the crowds. The bathrooms were very clean. However, it would be helpful if the sinks stayed on (near site 170) so you could actually wash your hands and there aren’t any hooks in the bathroom to hang your toiletries bag when you need to wash up or brush your teeth. There are no mirrors either. Bears come through every night so please put everything away and use the bear lockers!! Don’t keep food in your cars!!! We love visiting the campground!

We just love and appreciate this campground so much. We always have a great experience with other campers, the staff and even the bears! We bring our bikes and trek all over the place, we go to the lakes with our grandson and just enjoy nature, the quiet and the simple life for a while. It is not easy to find bookings but its worth the effort to keep trying..
