A beautiful campground with spacious sites within walking distance to Fallen Leaf Lake. Lake Tahoe and its surrounding beauty with restaurants and even casinos if desired are nearby.

Great location. Clean, well run campground.
I only with there was not an additional charge for using the dump station.

Fallen Leaf is a very nice campground. We picked it because we needed showers at that stage of a multi-park tour. Fallen Leaf provided those far more than adequately. They were clean and there were several showed facilities scattered throughouWe only occupied our campsite for one night, but the pad was in good shape and level enough that no additional leveling of our trailer was necessary. The South Lake Tahoe area is more "touristified" than we normally choose, but if those tourist amenities are important to you, this would be an excellent location.

Fallen Leaf Campground is beautiful! I woke up early one morning to see a very large bear meander through the meadow.
My only complaint was the generator noise of several neighbors. Quiet hours could be better enforced.
I wish motor home folks realized that most of us go camping to get away from noise and to enjoy the quiet beauty of nature.
Maybe there should be some regulations about acceptable noise levels allowed in parks? I know they do make quiet generators.

We stayed at Fallen Leaf Campground for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The campground is very clean, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We spent three days hiking around Fallen Leaf Lake, and the views were absolutely magnificent — peaceful water, surrounding mountains, and plenty of beautiful spots to stop and enjoy nature. This campground has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is a perfect base for exploring the area. We’ll definitely be returning!
