What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Beautiful campground, and very quiet.
Unfortunately it was over a quarter mile walk from our site to the only open restroom. Still, a very nice walk…

Good campsite overall, great location, close to Grant Grove. Very large campsite, not level, water closeby, very long distance from restrooms, restroom included sink for dumping doshwater.

The campsites are very close together, hard to reserve, and there is nothing special about them.

We booked this site on friday before the long weekend of Memorial Day. It was very well maintained campground. The campsite itself was on bit of incline, easy to work around though. Very close to the restrooms. Bear lockers work. Restrooms are clean. We spotted deers walking through our campsite in the morning. Has clear sky view at the top.

We saw so much nature. Deer came through our campsite twice. The sunsets were amazing from our site which was pearched on top of a valley.

It has good shades, facilities services near by, very quiet (except for someone in an RV, who arrive around 2 am the second night and made a lot of noise setting up the RV).
It is closer to the north attractions, and because it was not a busy week, we could access Sequoia area in a good time.

Really nice campsite! Has a good amount of distance between neighboring sites, and just down the hill from the restrooms. Just a short walk from the General Grant Trail as well. Overall had a great experience :)
