Azalea Campground

We love the campground and the park is so beautiful. It would have been better if there was a dump station nearby. Also access to the showers would have been nice. Overall had a great experience.

Arrived mid September. Hard to find trash cans and was swarmed by wasps when I was cooking breakfast. Hard to get directions around this part of the park because the signage is bad.

we can not recommend anything because of it is off season...
we enjoyed the cool nights and happen to see a bear.

Nice campground with trees, fire pit. Very close to Grants Grove. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was very nice and quiet, and we met nice people to talk to. Staying in the national park is a pure pleasure

Clean, well-kept camping spaces in a quiet space just off the main road.

The Azelea campground is excellent, especially if you can get a site on the West side. Like all of the campgrounds I have visited at SEKI, it is well maintained and has great amenities. The only that can spoil it are other campers, but what can you do?

I had a great trip with my daughter. The campground was quiet and everyone was friendly. There’s so much to see within Kings Canyon and Sequoia that you should def give yourself at least a few days to enjoy and see what’s out there. We saw a good amount of wildlife and the sequoia trees are unreal.

Nice site. Right next to the bathrooms. But the campsite is at a slant. So if your in a tent be aware. I had a sleeping pad on the ground and kept "rolling" down. Otherwise nice site.

Driving in and finding our camp site was easy and accessible! When we arrived we set up camp, we had clean potable water, ash disposal, trash and restrooms near by which was convenient. At our campsite 97 however, we had a huge yellow jacket issue our entire stay. All of our meals had meat which they are attracted too so by half through our trip we were eating in the car. That was a bit of a bummer but for our first time camping in area, that was the worst it got. Bear boxes were good ours was place in direct sunlight so our 100q cooler couldn't stand a chance. We had to buy ice again while we were up there. Our camp site was clean and the previous campers left us more than enough wood so we didn't need to buy any. The other perk we found was the Grant Grove market within walking distance to the camp ground. Anytime we need something or simply wanted to skip a meal and grab a burger there, it was available. I look forward to camping here again in the future. Definitely bringing a bug net canopy next time.
