What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Our campsite (111) was a small walk up the hill. While slightly exposed to the road, it looked much more private than many other sites. Close to the bathroom for my young kids but not close enough to be noisy. Gorgeous spot and you can walk right out to General Grant. Just an absolutely lovely stay and would absolutely go back.

It is a wonderful place for camping, with easy access to a spectacular and vibrant trail to the grant tree!

So beautiful! Our site was right next to a lovely meadow. Clean bathrooms. Close to both parks, perfectly central. 20 min from Hume Lake for swimming. Very kid friendly. Will be back!

A nice site close to Restrooms and a beautiful view of the meadow of wildflowers. Site is a bit unleveled and has two sunken spots in the pavement area but not much of an issue with my 10 feet little camper. Trash/Recycling was across site but not noisy. No bathroom lights beaming at night which was very nice.

Nice campground but nothing near by to do. We stayed her 3 nights and no showers within a hours drive. Most of the sites were on an incline.

Do not recommend for car camping, at least for our site. We did not know it was going to be on a slight incline and our stud would roll over.

Usual favorite site, low people density, no screaming kids, great weather. Been coming for 35 years.
