What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Beautiful place but most of the sites are small. We are all very close to each other and the closest showers are 1 hour away.

Amazing spot surrounded with trees not on top of neighbors and not rocky

Super lovely campground and excellent for being off the grid while also being close to the grid. The store is literally 3 mins away in case you need anything, but I didn't have any service outside of the Wifi (T Mobile). There are A LOT of campsites and tons of people so we did experience some noise late at night, but overall really lovely.

Great location between the two National Parks a village with visitor center with store was just down the road <1/4 mile.

The place was clean, supervised, close to a market and a visitor center which was very convenient.

No beefs with this campground other than our site didn't make it easy to level our 32 foot coach. There's enough room between sites, though just barely for some we saw across the campground road.
We don't visit our National Parks for KOA campgrounds though, do we? The trees and the wildlife and the experience of seeing the treasure of our nation is why we stay in National Park campgrounds whenever we can.
We recommend Azalea Campground without reservation.

The campsite itself was perfect. We had some noisy and inconsiderate neighbors but that’s to be expected during busy season. This site is a great spot and such a beautiful setting. A little far from the bathroom but overall a great experience.
