What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Beautiful spot, close to restrooms, visitor center and store. Some deer passed through camp.

I really enjoyed my stay at Azalea Campground. One of my favorite parts was that the bathrooms are individual, which made things much more comfortable. The campground itself wasn’t crowded, so it felt peaceful and relaxing.
Another big plus is that Grant Grove Market is close by and has everything you might need. The food options in Grant Grove aren’t amazing, but they’re decent enough if you don’t feel like cooking.
The only downside is that my site was on a slope, and the only flat spot was where rainwater tends to pool. Aside from that, everything about the site and the campground overall was great.
Would definitely recommend!

Our campsite was excellent. The campground had easy access to water and bathrooms. Bathrooms were kept clean and cleaned every day. RVs were in a separate area. Fellow campers were almost always quiet at a reasonable hour. Great experience.

Great location if you want to visit both national parks in the area. Had reception with Verizon wireless. No showers in this area, the nearest showers are an hour away at Lodgepole Campground visitor center and visitor center in Kings Canyon.

Our campsite was good. It was close to running water, in the shade, relatively close to the bathrooms and wash basin, which were very clean, and we enjoyed our neighbors. Our only complaint was that the campground was a little noisy during the evenings. I believe the noise/music was coming the RV/trailer campground.
