What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

This campsite is awesome, so many trails run through it that I hardly had to do any driving during my entire trip to King's Canyon. Highly recommend staying here if you are into hiking because the trailheads to some of the most iconic loops are within walking distance (my group knocked out Grant Grove, North Grove, and Dead Giant loop in half a day). The campground is also very taken care of, restrooms were clean and functional, staff and neighbors were all friendly.

Beautiful located in between the two parks. Close proximity to hikes and the Grove. Only down side was the showers were not available when we stayed.

Plenty of space between campsites. People adhered to campground rules like quiet hours. Loved the provided ash bucket, shovel, and rake for easy campsite/campfire clean up! BYOS (soap); none in the restroom.

We love this campground. We’ve been going there for years. Very happy as always. Rangers were wonderful when there was a situation, responded quickly.
