What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Location, Location. This is a very large and busy campground so you lose a bit of that remote camping feel. But, the location is great for simple walks to many of the local attractions.

Loved the setting under the huge pine trees. Quiet.
Only suggestion would be to clean the ladies rest room more often

Bit of a walk to the bathroom but nothing that wasn’t doable. Very nice location and even though the campground is close to the road it’s not loud. Flat campsite in a very nice location, would recommend

Not good for RV´s. Azalea campground is a nice campground in a beautiful setting. It´s close to the Grant Grove of sequoias and close to the village. However, the campsites are not set up for RV´s. The parking pads are mostly all very slanted and it´s almost impossible to level.
