What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

This is a really nice campground. Most of the sites are spaced nicely and there’s lots of trees. The only drawback is the lack of bathrooms. You might have to walk pretty far depending on where your site is.

campground was nearly empty although all sites were marked Reserved. We spent two nights and it was the same for both nights. Thus first come first serve were not allowed to stay even though there were plenty of empty sites. One such couple from out of state was driving around looking for a space and night fall and had no where to go.
Please select 4 or 5 spots for space available. I believe it is the right thing to do

Beautiful area and campground The only draw back is the lack of restrooms. The tent area has only one, at the top of a hill. Also the back loop doesn't have any ?? The poor campers who stay there have a LONG walk to the nearest bathroom.

Pretty good campground, right next to general grant which is pretty good. Our campground is right next to others but it's fine.

Had a blast with my kid and wife. I was surprised with the hygiene maintained at the restrooms.

This is a great campground that is close to the entrance, close to General Grant Tree, and close to the visitor center (the only wifi in the north section of the park- no AT&T service in the park). The campground is itself scenic with lots of granite boulders and trees and hills and a sunset vista.
