What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

We absolutely loved camping here. We were in site 47. FYI there is no shade in site 47 so don't choose it unless you don't mind sun. This campground is spacious and beautiful. Very clean restrooms. We walked our dog twice a day around the grounds and saw squirrel, deer, and more. Nice flat site to park our trailer. We took the drive on Kings Cyn Scenic Byway and to Hume Lake. Both wonderful drives and hardly any people this time of year.

We used the trail to Grant Grove. The next morning we used the trail to the visitors’ center.

This campsite is not level and is stacked on top of multiple other campsites if you like your privacy, this is not the campsite for you.
I would definitely advise picking a different campsite. Located close to two bathrooms.
