What Guests Are Saying
Azalea Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with ample shaded and spacious sites, making it ideal for families and groups. Many campers enjoyed the proximity to trails, visitor centers, and stunning views of the surrounding giant sequoias. While some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and site proximity, the overall experience was positive, with a strong desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Site 22 very nice close to bathrooms lots of overall space, tent pad is a little elevated within the site which made the sleeping space feel a bit private.

Restrooms were a little bit of a walk from this campsite and the driveway is a bit sloped. I had to level my car for my rooftop tent, but everything else was fantastic.

Beautiful campground in a convenient location. The facilities here are very good and well maintained. There's bathrooms with running water, sinks outside the bathrooms to wash dishes, recycling, potable water. There are not showers, though. We stayed one night at site #37 and one night at #68, and they were both great but very different. #37 is a large and spread out site and very private. It is a little walk to the restrooms, though. #68 is smaller and closer to neighboring sites, but it's also right across the street from a toilet. We were able to set up a tent at both sites without issue.
