When we arrived we were initially afraid that the campground was closed. After the flooding in spring there was still a lot of driftwood lying around. But we were greeted very friendly by the campsite warden as the only guests on the first night. Since we have been here three times in September in recent years, we knew that it is usually quite empty on weekdays. Our campsite had already been cleared and the remaining bits and pieces were quickly cleared away and the grass was mown so that we could set up our tent. The sanitary rooms were also cleaned so that we could use the showers, although they had cold water. Because there was a lot of wood lying around, we were always able to feed our campfire well on both nights. There were two certainly unforgettable stays (in a positive sense) at this campground.

Plan to arrive before 9 PM (front gate closes at that time, visited in late September). Your campsite may be far from an available restroom, plan accordingly and find a campsite map.

Was disappointed upon arrival, but grateful for a place to stay.
An on-site host would've been helpful. Nobody to check us in and waited until the next morning for the ranger to give us some information. It wasn't really a big deal until the party camp rolled in Friday night being loud and fighting until 4am.
Really enjoyed the sounds of the wild before Friday.
Would love to come back when the water is up!

the place was in bad shape looks like they had a lot of storm damage the bathroom right next to are camp ground was closed so you had to walk a 1/4 mile to get to the portable bathroom that was not good but the price was great at $20 and we were only there one night and are camp had a good view of the lake and mountains so i give it was not bad place to spend the night
would have been nice if you told people in advance the bathroom was closed
