Campsites are well spaced, but not all have shade from trees. Bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have water spigots available throughout the campground (for filling, not for washing). The river was a short walk away.
Bears were quite active, so very important to follow food storage rules if you don't want wildlife getting too close! Rangers do patrol for unattended food not properly stored and will confiscate.

An excellent place to camp. Everything is very peaceful and so many amazing trails around the campsite.

I had a fantastic time in the Moraine Campground. Had Not camped in the location for quite a few years. Had plenty of Bear visits as well as friendly neighbors. The whole Cedar Grove are was in great shape and as always very enjoyable place to be. Can't wait to return.

Great campground! Each camp spot is spaced very well, the bear box is huge, and the river is right below the camp. Had a great experience!

It was a beautiful location (we stayed at spot 5 and 7)! Weather is unpredictable during this time of the year, though, so I'd suggest taking a canopy of sorts in case it begins to rain. Also, there's high bear activity, so remember to put away food (they showed up during the day for us). Overall, my family had a great time.

We've going to Kings -Cedar grove for about 40 years - have only missed about 4 years. First time in Moraine. When I tried for reservations, there were only 4 spaces for the days I wanted, and I had my grandson (10) pick a number - 52. Perfect for our little camper. Everything in the spot was close to the camper and van - nice.
