Very clean bathroom & great camping area. It was peaceful, would love to come back & explore more of the forest.

Nice quiet camp with lots of room between camps, bathrooms were clean and also had a outside sink for washing up!
Other campers were nice, a nice green forest, was a nice surprise after seeing so many areas affected by fire.

Beautiful quiet campground. Visited during the weekday. Thank you to all the staff who keep the campgrounds safe and clean. One feedback is our bear box got stuck and we had to kick the door for the top latch to loosen from the door hinge. Might want to look into doing some maintenance in case it happens to another camper.

The location is great and restrooms are nearby and well-maintained. Once we arrived at our campground for about 15 minutes, a rancher came to ask if we need any help. Nice and efficient.

Moraine Campground was a good place to start our visit of King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park. The campground was tidy and the sites were spacious. We like having an area reserved just for tents.

Things I loved: no campfires means that people go to bed early and it's really dark. This means that the night sky is fantastic! We were there during a meteor shower and it was great. The hike to Mist Falls was great. Swimming in the river is great. You can swim right at the campground, but by Muir Rock is better. Bring something to cover the bear box: it's in the sun all day at most campsites. Discovered from a neighbor that bear-proof coolers only make bears angry.

Great campground. However, not sure what is going on - the sign says the campground is FULL and it was about 20% occupied. Not sure if this is Covid related or what, but there is no camp host or ranger kiosk so one could just pick a campsite and likely not be disturbed. Anyway, very peaceful and you can set up on top of the ridge by the river and read a book or go down to the river and swim (not for me). It is hazy from smoke as you might expect.
