What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Possibly one of the loudest campgrounds I’ve ever spent the night in. I’m not sure if it’s the time of year and the other campgrounds closing for the season, but the amount of noise from large groups staying in the campground was crazy. It’s maybe a little too close to civilization for me; with Fresno only being a short drive. Next time I’ll choose a wilderness permit and camp in the mountains! On a brighter note; the bathrooms were clean.

Loved the whole experience, this is my 12th time staying in King’s Canyon. My only complaint is that there were lots of empty spots even though the park said full.

The bathrooms were vey clean, which is the most important part. The only bad part, was that some people stayed up really late drinking and making a lot of noise that kept me awake. By late I mean Ike 1AM. Hike into roads end and go to Mist Falls. There are spots to get into the water and cool off and the views are amazing. Looks like Yosemitee with out all the people.
