What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Beautiful campground with a dense canopy and scattering of Sequoia and various pine trees. Several restrooms and water spigots throughout the campgrounds, along with a larger set of bathrooms that includes a family bathroom and dish washing station. The campground is also situated on the Kings River and is accessible enough for a dip. There is a visitor center within the grounds

We camped in site 42 the night before starting a backpacking trip on the Rae Lakes Loop. The site was large enough to be comfortable for our group of 5; there was a water spigot nearby; a sink for rinsing dishes was nearby; the restrooms were clean; and camping among the Sequoia was sublime!
