What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Sites on the loops closest to the road have very little to no shade. Take the cavern tour only if you are in decent physical condition as the climb up to the cavern is steep and long. Definitely NOT suitable for under 10.

Perfect campsite for pull thru trailer or to fit two cars. Walking distance to the bathroom and river for an afternoon dip.

Love this campground, each site is large and we were close to showers and a camp store. Beautiful hikes just a short drive away

Spent 2 weeks at several national parks in California tent camping with my husband and 4 teenagers. This was everyone’s favorite campground and our favorite national park!
