Very quiet campground. Pit toilets and yet they clean them daily. Actually need to be upgraded, but glad they are kept clean. Close to Truckee airport,
but planes do not fly at night. Fun watching lear jets fly over , as well as planes pulling gliders. Nice campground off the beaten path. Enjoy staying her as you cannot hear road noise.

Very nice campground. Small and quiet. Air traffic noise is very minimal. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the sink gooseneck in the Mens restroom wasn’t sealed and every time you washed your hands, water would come out underneath the sink and go everywhere. I’m sure it will be fixed soon. Hoping ti come back soon.

We have always really enjoyed this campground, but this last trip, it doesn't appear that the campground is maintained as well as it has been in the past. The bathrooms were very dirty, and they are usually pretty clean. We have also seen troops there helping to maintain the pine needles, but didn't appear that has been done in quite some time. Maybe things have changed? Don't have anyone to do maintenance? But overall, nice quiet campground.

Loved this campground! Sites are big and lots of pull throughs for a trailer if you need it. I had enough service to stream HBO max on my phone (just for reference on how much service you can get) - AT&T

We like everything about the campground except for the really terrible access road and then the even worse entry Road where the circle completes itself that throws everything inside your rig all over the place.

From State Highway 267, turn onto Martis Dam Road. Continue on Martis Dam Road for approximately 1.2 miles. Tur miles. Turn right a 0.2 miles to the campground entrance. You have now arrived at the entrance to Alpine Meadows Campground.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
