Nicely spaced out, fire rings, paved. Good trees.
Location is good central to activities.
Hiking right from the campground.
Community airport nearby with some noise.
There is no dump station at the campground or a nearby campground.

The campground is fantastic. Clean. The bathrooms could use some work. They are not kept very clean. The current campground hosts are not friendly.

1. I don’t like the Recreation.gov on- line reservations. To get two nights, you need to reserve 3 days. Because of this I made an error and had the reserve another campsite and the last minute for my second night.
2. When I arrived Thursday night, I found a family in the campsite having a bonfire and BBQ. They claimed they had no idea it was reservations only and that it wasn’t posted in the campground.
3. Campground host told me they are no longer putting the reservations on the campsite posts, because they blow away, or get wet and the print runs. Seems like a bad policy and creates confusion/conflict.

Great little camping spot, it’s also called the “Martis Creek Campground” (follow the signs for that). The campground is quiet except for a few airplanes, but it’s nothing crazy. The lake isn’t right next to the campground, so you do have to walk/drive/bike there. A lot of sap from the trees, so just be aware if you have dogs or small kids. Overall it was a great camping spot to chill and relax.

Small campground with lots of trees and wide spaces between campsites. Site (#17) took minimal leveling. Bathroom was clean and well supplied with hand soap, toilet paper and hand towels.

Campers observed the quiet time and I didn’t observe any dogs off leash.
