Beautiful campground. Camp host is wonderful & helpful. Great fishing but they should think about limiting wakeboarding (5 mph zone) in the main arm by the dam as we almost got swamped by a huge wave and they have to be degrading the shoreline and endangering some prime fish habitat.

Each year our family books 4 sites for a weekend family camp out. The campground is perfect for us as we enjoy water sports and beach time. Unfortunately, this year we were unable to get 4 sites near one another which, I guess, is a testimony to how popular the campground is. Even so, we had an enjoyable weekend with a little more walking and toting than usual.

Great campground, fun reservoir to play in. There was no water in our loop when we were there, which made things complicated.

Beautiful setting, large, private site. Lake access was easy. My only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is the fact that there was no water in the campground over memorial day weekend!

The water is close and the disc golf course is closer. Love this place.

Cons:No water/ full garbages and low water in the reservoir and no RV dump ( closed for some reason) Pros: Bathrooms were clean. I feel these campgrounds are overpriced.

This is an annual trip for us and we have quite a bit of experience in this campground over the years, and this is the only time I can recall giving a subpar review. There is a new concessionaire running the campground and they are not up to the standards of the previous. They seem short staffed and working from behind to get up to speed. The bathroom closest to our site had a broken locking mechanism and while cleaned every morning, new and wrapped rolls of TP are just left on the floor. We only interacted with hosts when we saw them cleaning the bathroom in the morning or when we entered or exited the gate.
We were told in advance the water “may be shut off”, which was appreciated but never told they no longer sell firewood on site. With signs all over the area to “buy where you burn” and not bring in outside wood we have always relied on the wood for sale from the camp hosts so we came up without any. We were told we could collect and burn anything laying around but recent rains and even snow the day before made everything wet. Despite being told the campground was booked “full” we were one of maybe 10 groups on our loop…the rest of the sites were empty…..including prime waterfront sites that are almost impossible to reserve. Imagine our surprise when almost every waterfront site sat empty for 4 days. Definitely disappointed this year
