The campsite we had was quite clean and spacious, which was great. It was also a short walk to the water, but the area near the water wasn't very nice to hang out on - very steep and filled with large rocks (better beach side was closer to boat launch). The water was completely shut off when we stayed there over Memorial Day weekend which made it very inconvenient. The pit vault toilets were also in pretty poor condition, although it was a busy weekend so no surprise there. Overall, it was a peaceful spot and I would return again.

This was the first time we had ever been there, and it will certainly be our last time your camp host. All eight of them were very lazy. They all rode around in their little golf carts and did really nothing except put black trash bags on all the water faucets and say you couldn’t use them did they tell you why no did they tell you ahead of time no it was just a terrible experience for us and we will never come back again.

Site #18 was PERFECT! We tent camped and had a heater to help with the cold nights. Despite not having any fresh water, it was a wonderful place.
Highly recommend! The wild life each morning and evening were so fun to watch. Will come back

July 4th weekend at Logger was awesome. They have a great little parade with the camp hosts and the rangers. Smoky the Bear was there and all the kids really enjoyed it
There is one review on spot 65 that says it’s close to the water. I suppose “close” is a relative term. You don’t need to drive to the lake but it’s a pretty good hike to the water.
For the most part, people were respectful of quiet hours and kept their dogs on leashes.
We did not use the vault toilets so can’t say if they were clean but we saw the camp host down there daily so I imagine they were. The rest of the campground was very clean.
Spot 65 is very large and has two fire rings, but it is also double the price per night. Would definitely camp there again Giving this 4 stars because the beach is very rocky and hard on your feet. Nothing the campground can do about this, but just can’t say it’s a 5.

New campground mgmt isn't very efficient. Multiple staff (5) at check in booth 6:30pm. Cars backed up while one guy had a long convo w/ someone they couldhave checked peoplein on the other side. Bathrooms not cleaned. Water not working. Fire pits not cleaned. No fire wood. Told to gather from woods. Bad instructions as people were breaking off branches from trees. Vehicles charged $20/day not $5 as on website and signs all over. Hosts allowed cars to park on dirt all over. We drove around all loops. No sound noise control by hosts. Hosts didn't interact with people as the drove golf carts around. Host sites not clearly signed and they're in various vehicles that range from converted vans, busses and other odd vehicles. Looks more like Burning man. Not the experience I'm used to. We've camped there for decades.

2 BEGIN: Park is beautiful, well maintained 4 most part, but rather limited when it comes to enforcing leash rules on dogs in the park! This needs major improvement! E bikes need park restrictions due to the speeds they can get to. 2 many crazy fearless kids zoom thru the park regardless of foot or bicycle traffic, scaring walkers and younger bikers at times. Saw 7-10 year old boy trying 2 take a dried creek bed down to the water, he didn't make it far. His father spotted him and paranted him on the spot, good 2 see that. Just need 2 get dog owners up on leashes! LASTLY: site 37 requires a little 2 a lot of help, rediculously unlevel after using all my levelers which got me close to being almost level. The step 2 the ground was about double the depth of my step in a nearly level or normal site. I had 2 literally climb into and out of my RV while grabbing the grab bar.. I am 73.
