Camp hosts are not very active or overly friendly. Logger has a nice dump station but it is always closed, very frustrating.

We have been going to Logger Campground for the last 12 years. This was the first year that we had any real issues.
There was no camp host for our loop. There were 2 ladies that came through and cleaned the bathrooms and picked up trash. Without an actual camp host, lots of rules were not being enforced. People were parking on the dirt, when the extra parking areas were full. We had an incident where our grandson got bit by a dog that was on a rather long leash tied to the wood parking barrier but was able to get up near the street. Leash laws state that leashes are not to be longer than 6 ft. Someone from the park came and took a report from the dogs owners and then the owners vacated the site. Overall the trip was fine. Good to see they cleaned up some of the forest. Lots of pine cones laying around.

We stayed in site 074 and it was a very spacious and quiet site.
We always enjoy staying at Loggers Campground, in fact, we are headed up there again the second weekend of August.

Camp host and check in were helpful and relaxed. Not nitpicky about all the minor details.

Very difficult to access lake for swimming by shore especially with small children, no shade around lake, all rock lake side, and no bear lockers at camp site. They really need a sandy beach with easy entry to water. We will never return to this campground.

Average campground. Clean site. Many customers had wrong names on sites. Will probably return.

At first glance, we were not happy with the site mostly because of the size of 81, it is very small so small that we had to move the picnic table just so we could have room for our tent. All other sites surrounding us had tons of land and space for kids to play 81 has no space and 1 tree. However, after we set up camp it wasn't so bad and 1 great thing was that it was so close to the water. We were able to leave our paddle boards down by the lake and not really have to worry about them also was very convenient coming back to camp for lunch and dinner then heading back down. I would use this space again but just keep in mind it should only be for 1 tent, wouldn't recommend having a big party with you.

This camp ground is the worst in .gov parks
They never enforce any rules , multiple spots had 20 to 30 people per site multiple loops with 5 to 7 tents in one site. You can’t figure out how to run a pay dump 3 yrs in a row. Cal. Gov sites should not be allowed to to be run by incompetent management.

This is my second year camping at Logger Campground. The Campground is nice, clean, facilities are clean and playing on the water on Prosser Reservoir is a ton of fun. Our campsite last year (#12) was so sloped that you could not set up a tent. This year, site #6, was much better, and close to the bathroom. The site next to us was REALLY close and it was a group of 20-somethings that were awake into the night who were a bit loud. Deer are very interested in finding your snacks, will check your trash and come right up to your table. Overall, lovely place, great place to camp that's not too far from civilization and great water access.
