Logger Campground is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and spacious sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Space 84 is fantastic. Big enough for our 30 foot TT. We had a good time.

It was rainy and we wished the fire pits could have been used. We over looked the email regarding the fire ban so were not fully prepared for that. Too bad the ban can’t be on a day to day basis

The campground is well maintained and the lake is beautiful. The staff was amazing as well. A friend of our friends booked on the wrong day and the campground was completely full. The staff went out of their way to call people who hadn’t showed up and found him a site. Greatly appreciated!

IMPORTANT NOTE: For those who are traveling to the campsite, the last 2 miles of Dog Valley Rd is an unpaved dirt road with uneven surfaces, so expect a rough drive if your car is not meant for off-roading.
Campsite review:
Logger campground was pleasant and dog friendly with a few exceptions. We had good access to restrooms (which were clean most of the time) and to the faucet (Site 213). Restrooms are vault style and do not have sinks so be prepared to clean your hands elsewhere. Most of the groups staying in the campsite were respectful and quiet. There was a group that had their generator running all night for each night we stayed (3 nights) but they were never told to turn it off by the host during quiet hours. Campfire restrictions were not enforced as the group next to ours had a campfire for two nights out of our stay. Although check-in time starts at 2:00 PM, the hosts were nowhere to be found when we arrived around 5:00 PM and the host never stopped by to make sure we were checked in from our first day up until we left. However, our site did have a tag to let others know our site was reserved. Our double campsite was also in very close proximity to the next site (214). Our parking spaces and entire campsite was literally next to theirs. If there was another group in the 214 area, they would have been way too close and privacy would definitely be lacking; their site was only about 6-8 ft from ours.
Overall, the campsite did provide a positive experience but I feel having the hosts' presence would have made the stay more welcoming and also to enforce regulations and quiet hours. And lastly, the road leading up to the campsite needs to be fixed... my brother's car's suspension was damaged by the uneven pavement and it made each drive to and from the campsite very unpleasant. In order to try and prevent damage, one would probably have to drive 5 mph or less... If I could, I would give an overall rating of 3.5/5.
