I have been going to the Logger Camp Ground for over 50+ years and the sites have been well-maintained. The only problem is the roads inside the campground need to be reworked as well as the road going to the boat ramp ( two very large pot holes)

Great and clean facility. Lake offers good fishing and recreational activities and within a short drive of both Truckee and Reno. Single, double and triple sites available. Only negative, Friday and Saturday night crowds can be loud into the early morning hours and certain hosts (each loop has its own host) seem to shelter in place and allow it. We stay in Iron Ox loop every year and the hosts who have been there the last couple years are fantastic.

Our experience was absolutely great at the gate met an elderly couple probably younger than us who provided our dog who loves treats with a dog treat he remembered them the entire 4 days that we were there cuz every time they drove by he wanted to be there friend too. So to continue the weather was great the space was adequate little tight as we're 30 ft ourselves and is just a wonderful state temperatures were very moderate not too hot a little hot in the afternoon had some really cool isolated thundershowers late one day but it was a great time then I'm going back again around the corner as we do a couple times a year. The water level was very high which was great water is very clear and the temperatures were really perfect had a couple mid to upper 80s but with the afternoon breezes couldn't get much better

Logger campground is really nice! I would love to go back. I suggest checking out your spots before booking as some are better that others, but all around really nice camping spot! 96 is really sloped and it was difficult to sleep on a hill. So be careful if you are not skilled tent campers!
