This year we decided to make our annual trip to Crystal Mine a weekend long trip instead of our usual day trip. Being only 40 minutes away, Logger Campground was an excellent choice for our needs. The grandson loved the area for riding his bike and going fishing at the wonderful lake.

Love the campground but the camp host was rude. And I don’t understand the ridiculous rules with UTV’s and dirt bikes. The place is surrounded by trails and you aren’t allowed to have them in there? I understand not wanting it to be loud and have people speeding, but I feel like most people are respectful of that. Our actual site was terrible. It was so tight we couldn’t even have our awning open.

I love that the camp sites are far apart and that there is good water access, even if you don't have a waterfront campsite.

The toilets were as clean as they could be for just holes in the ground. But it was gross. And the water spickets are tucked in weird places like on peoples sites so we couldn’t even find them till the last day.
