There's a couple of things that kept this review from getting 5 stars. The campground itself was very nice, clean and no bugs which was amazing. The hosts were kind and friendly. The bad parts were that they were releasing so much water out of the lake, that for me (retired, disabled Veteran), my wife (disabled), and family, it was very hard to get to and return from the lake. The second, and possibly the more important reason for a lack of stars is that this is a very large campground, with dozens if not more RV spots with NO DUMP STATION!!! Are you serious? The one they had is permanently closed. This needs to be addressed and fixed. No campground this large should have a non-functional dump station. We WILL NOT recommend or be back until this is fixed.

We had a wonderful time. The weather could not have been better. We all had one comment, at the entrance to Logger the american flag was torn and at night it was not lit up. For a federal campground, this is wrong.
I have an RV so I cannot rate the restrooms but from the outside they stunk. You should have th3en pumped out more often then you do. There seemed to be a lot of pine cones and needles on the ground than usual as we have been coming up there for years. These use to be raked up to prevent a fire. Other than that we had lots of fun.

Loved out camp host. He was friendly and welcoming.....much better than the host that was there last year.
They warn for Bears but do not provide Bear Boxes.
