Great campground, clean, awesome lake to swim, the water is clean and not very cold. People do tent to bump their music well into 12 o clock at night during weekend time. It is more quiet during week. We stayed at campsite 045 and the post camp for that loop did not have wood. There are additional camp hosts that had wood. Lots of dear around so pack the food away as they roam the campgrounds day and night. I will definitely return here next year.

Lack of training of staff, clearly the park regulations state 6 people per site. Then further state the family exception your staff at logger campground understand this as if you pay for a site you can put up as many people in tents on the same site. Three separate site in logger oxbow & iron ox each had near 50 people. 10 to 12 tents above the trailers parked.
I have pictures many campers upset

Dirty restrooms, ran out of TP at least 3 times during our 9 - day stay in oxbow loop.

We appreciated the clean restrooms. It would be great to have bear lockers, since there was warnings of bears at the campground. It would be great if the campground would educate campers on NOT using the water spigots as dishwashing stations. There may be some signs that tell them NOT to, but perhaps each camper needs to receive a handout/flyer upon check-in to emphasize this and to let them know INSTEAD what TO do about washing dishes.

The campground we initially reserved above grass valley, was cancelled due to recent storms. We were left scrambling to find a new place to camp and randomly found Logger campground…omg this place is amazeballs!!!! The water was the perfect temp, it was not too hot or too cold and everyone had an amazing time! I think it’s our new fave!! And the camp host were so perfect! I wish I could take them with me to every camping excursion
(Btw We tent camped And only had kayaks and paddle boards)
