What Guests Are Saying
Logger Campground is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and spacious sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts are described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have noted issues with noise from generators and the need for better enforcement of campground rules, as well as a lack of essential facilities like a functioning dump station.

Logger campground is an annual Memorial Day event for us for almost 20 years. Until 2020 we have always been allowed to come up a day or two before opening day. Never had an issue until then. They won’t open the gates until exactly 2:00 pm on the Friday of Memorial Weekend. Super frustrating.

Our camp in 2021 was awesome but why would you not open the campground until Saturday (5-28-2022) at 2:00PM on Memorial Day weekend? REALLY? That is ridiculous.
You should open the Thursday before Memorial Day.

We camped at Logger Campground in early October, and of the 260 campsites about 30 were being used. This is very normal occupancy for this time of year at Logger as we have been camping here for forty years. As we picked out a nice site we were informed by the Forest Service person that we would HAVE to change sites in two day. We were told that the rules were the rules and there were no exceptions. We had to find cell service and make an on-line reservation. The entire campground was very empty for our entire stay of 5 nights.
A little flexibility would have gone a long ways. I know the Forest Service can manage campgrounds better than this. I would have handled the situation differently ... just inform us we may have to move if a reservation comes in. The chance of that happening was very remote.

Site was out by itself with easy access to the water. Plenty of room to pitch a couple tents. One downside, when the wind blew from the toilets you got a whiff of human nature.
