Logger Campground is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and spacious sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts are described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have noted issues with noise from generators and the need for better enforcement of campground rules, as well as a lack of essential facilities like a functioning dump station.

We love Logger Campground (40-minutes from Reno and 10-minutes from Truckee) because it allows for a quick getaway from the city, but still close enough to get things you need. The water is clear and refreshing, the camp host are courteous, the campsites are clean, and the rangers are informative.

There is a lack of overflow parking as well as parking at the boat ramp. People were parked in boat trailer spots with out trailers. Upon entering the campground the host was not friendly. Sites are small, very close to neighbors and the length of the driveways differ than what’s actually posted on the website.

Always love coming to camp at Logger , only disappointment was that the water level was so low but things happen . Hosts are awesome and sites are clean and well spaced for privacy

Logger campground is our favorite campground in the 50-60 mile distance from Reno and Sparks. We've never met a camp host there we didn't like and the vast majority of the sites are pretty level, or easy enough to get level on. Probably one of the coolest features is that with 6 loops in the whole campground, Cross Cut, Iron Ox, Steam Donkey, Double Bit, Ox Bow and Whistle Punk, there is plenty of paved surface to ride bikes on. I think we measured it out at around 2 miles without going over the same spot twice. The lake front sites are amazing if you can get one reserved. They go fast when reservations open up. There's a lot of wildlife in the area, particularly deer. They've very friendly and accustomed to all the campers, so they will come up and eat right out of your hands. Again, it's our favorite and an incredible place to create memories.

The campground, bathrooms, etc. were very clean. The only negative was that all of the camp hosts were gone at the same time, which allowed a nearby camper with 2 large dogs to let them bark for hours. When we asked him to try and quiet them, his minimal efforts were unsuccessful. A camp host could have helped make an entire day & night of camping more pleasurable.
