The campsite was great! Nice to have water and bathrooms. They were kept clean. Would come back again!! Great place to see all the stars. Sites were great size and pretty level!

The campground was great. Its far away from all the other campsites. And It’s a little weird how they put all the campsites right on top of each other in the middle of nowhere… they could have spaced them out.
There’s a camp store, but they don’t really sell anything in there except a few souvenirs and boxed water. it would be great if they had firewood and ice in there, but the nearest store is back down the hill, which isn’t too big of a deal it’s like 15 minutes away.
This site is far removed from Joshua tree, the town. Like 45 mins or so to drive so be aware of that.

The star gazing was top tier. All the roads leading to the site were paved, so any car could get there. The only slight problem with this particular spot was that since it was so close to the bathroom, you get a lot of foot traffic during the night, and it can wake you up. No cell service but a lot of people had Starlink.
