Great campsite, however it is in the extreme south part of the park, approximately 35 miles away from the major attractions in the north. There are several campgrounds in the park that are first come first served that don’t appear on recreation.gov.

This was a great place to start our wonderful time at Joshua Tree National Park. We had a nice level spot with good views and stargazing opportunities. We could have done without nearby generator operation after approved hours and amplified music, but it was mostly a distraction and we enjoyed our time there.

It was a nice place to stay for a night as we were headed out of the southern end of the park. Had a bit of trouble leveling the camper, but there was a water spigot right at the rear of the side. The inside of the loop has sites pretty close to each other. Could hear everything the neighbors were talking about. Heard the coyotes yipping at night.

location was great but the parking of a large 35 foot RV was a bit dicey due to uneven terrain. the national park is awesome and worth the inconvenience

We stayed two nights in our Leisure Travel Van. The campground and facilities were very clean. Of course Joshua Tree is always a great place to visit. A highlight for us was the evening presentation by one of the rangers on the nocturnal animals in the park, it was exceptional.

I absolutely loved this spot! It was on the far end of the campground and felt like having a whole campsite to myself, complete with a trail to explore. I camped here a few months ago and had an amazing experience. It was a bit far from the bathrooms, but that didn’t bother me at all!
