Had a blast at this campsite! At first, I thought it might be a letdown since it was the last one available, but it turned out to be even better than expected. It was conveniently located near a spigot water source and not too far from the bathrooms. We easily set up three spacious tents, making for a great experience.

I absolutely loved this spot! It was on the far end of the campground and felt like having a whole campsite to myself, complete with a trail to explore. I camped here a few months ago and had an amazing experience. It was a bit far from the bathrooms, but that didn’t bother me at all!

Nice clean campground with picnic tables and fire rings. Love the access to the Matador and Cotton Springs trails and how close we were to the visitor's center. Shout out to Ranger Ashley for the great talk at the auditorium one night! The drive to the rest of the park (and to see the Joshua Trees as there are none at this camp area) was easy and especially wonderful if you downloaded (BEFORE you get to park as there is NO cell service) the NPS Joshua Tree self-guided tours from the NPS app.
