Beautiful and peaceful. Being at the southern most part of the park had it's good and bad. The good, is that you do not have to deal with any of the traffic or tons of visitors. The bad is that it's a good 30-40 minute drive to see the "good stuff." But I would stay here again.

A beautiful campground and we loved our stay here. There are great hiking trails right from the campground. We loved watching sunrise and sunset right from the campground.

It's 2025... interior of restrooms should have motion detector LED lights. I respect the need for non-obtrusive lighting in the desert.
Also find the parking lot curbs are unnecessary tripping hazard since there are no lights outside either. Maybe painting hi-vis yellow?

Love how most people are respectful of the area. Restrooms are clean but don’t have light at night. Big dumpsters are nearby. There is paved parking on site for Car/Suv camping. A bench and fire ring is nearby. Gets dark enough to see the stars.
