The trash cans were overflowing, but everything else was wonderful.

Arrived at campground, site very uneven my 28 foot motorhome fit but sleeping slideout hung out into the road. We left and camped at BLM dispersed campsite just outside the park. We could have turned our Moho around and it probably would have worked but it seemed like too much effort when we could just park on BLM without worrying about being run into 😊

Angelinos don't seem to know much about camping. Last time I stayed at this campground someone poached my site saying his "just wouldn't work for him". This time a woman at a neighboring campsite who was camping in her sprinter van had equipment that she left during the day stolen by other campers who "didn't know if she was coming back and just left them". The rangers and park staff are overwhelmed and overworked and can not (and should not have to) police the campground. So come on campers; show some respect and be adults.

Lovely clean, quiet site. Can hike Mastodon Peak or Lost Palms Oasis direct from the campground.

The reviews are here worried me a bit until we got there.
This campsite is GREAT! The bathroom were clean, the visitor center is a short mile walk and the Cottonwood Springs Trails can be picked up right from Loop A. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The only downside is zero internet connection. Wish was both a blessing and a curse.
