My wife and I both enjoyed the campground. It had potable water and flush toilets. It was within walking distance (1/2 mile) to the trailhead for the Lost Oasis trail and a couple of others. There were a couple RVs that ran their generators, but all observed the quiet hours. The campsites were spread out pretty well.

Excellent campsite. Clean toilets, access to water. Sites are roomy, and other campers were not too noisy. What is so good about this spot that at the end of the day and in the morning you get the beautiful drive through the park to visit the Joshua Trees.
It was quite chilly at night but we were prepared.

Our experience at Cottonwood Campground was wonderful. The campsites are large, with a lot of room for a couple of large tents. Bathrooms have running water and flush toilets and were well maintained. The camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our visit. The Cottonwood campground is well looked after and the campsites are large and situated so they feel quite private. The views are amazing and nearby hikes are great.

This is a very tight campground and this site (A02) in particular has very little usable space. The amenities at the campground otherwise are as advertised.
