Great experience, but there are many amazing climbs within camp sites. If you choose a camp site with one of these climbs, PLEASE understand that people will want to climb there.
Also a small child kept peeing all over the bathroom floor and toilet paper when we were there :/

Not a bad spot in the whole place. All are nestled next to boulders that invite you to climb, explore, and exhale under the starry skies.
Most suitable for tent or van camping.

This campground is a great campground. No complaints. Even though it was windy the days we were there, we enjoyed it. We plan to go again.

Our second experience at this campground. We enjoyed the nature walk with all the blooming cacti. Only negative was a broken door lock on one of the restrooms,

Nice campsite. The rock formations were pleasant. The table and fireplace were all nice as well. They could add better signage it's hard to see some of the signs especially at night. They could also add hand sanitizer in the restrooms since there is no running water. The road within the site could also use some maintenance. However, overall it is a nice campsite!

Loved this campsite! My kids had the best time playing make believe on the boulders and climbing them.

I don't know why people are saying it was far from the parking space, it was reasonably close and it was definitely not a hike. It was a really nice spot and I enjoyed it, it was really windy so we had to go home early, but if it would have been better weather it was a great spot!

We stayed at site 91. Indian cove is a really neat campground. It was cool being tucked back in the rocks, our site felt pretty private thanks to that.
The sunrise and sunset both were gorgeous here, and views of the stars were great as well.
There is minimal shade (as is the case in most of the area) so we brought a tent with a vestibule and sat under it in the afternoons.
Bathrooms were in decent shape for drop toilets and water was available at the campground entrance, which most other JT campgrounds do not have.
The most common complaint I saw for this campground when reading other reviews was that it is not connected to the main park roads. It was only about 20 minutes from the north and west entrances. I personally love the scenic driving in the area, so I didn’t mind at all. I also liked being a little closer to some restaurants and places we could replenish our cooler with ice.
