Beautiful, spacious site, reasonably close to a restroom. Nicely nestled near giant boulders but with plenty of room for tents, etc. Also a large parking space that accommodated two small (20’ish) RVs.

These groups sites are the best in Joshua Tree. This site in particular is very spacious with lots of room for your set-up. We had 5 large tents (6-person and up) and canopies. It is a bit plainer than the other sites as far as the aesthetics of the rock formations, and the walls are smaller. It opens up in the back to the individual campsites, but they are very far away.

Take Interstate 10 to State Highway 62. Go past the West Entrance at Park Boulevard and continue east another 9.3 miles. Turn south on Indian Cove Road. Follow the road into the campground. If coming from the east, follow Highway 62 approximately seven miles west of the city of Twentynine Palms and turn south onto Indian Cove Road.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 10 and State Highway 62. It is located approximately 9.3 miles east of the West Entrance at Park Boulevard off Highway 62.
