It's Joshua Tree: primitive amenities, but beautiful rocks, sky, and it's clean. Indian Cove is my favorite camp spot in JT. Close to town but you still feel remote.

We booked group site #5 for our Boy Scout troop and it was very spacious. There were plenty of tables for us to use. Restrooms were very clean for camping standards. Very happy with the site and would definitely return.

Take Interstate 10 to State Highway 62. Go past the West Entrance at Park Boulevard and continue east another 9.3 miles. Turn south on Indian Cove Road. Follow the road into the campground. If coming from the east, follow Highway 62 approximately seven miles west of the city of Twentynine Palms and turn south onto Indian Cove Road.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 10 and State Highway 62. It is located approximately 9.3 miles east of the West Entrance at Park Boulevard off Highway 62.
