Nice area, showers were broken and no one was able to fix them . No way to regulate water temp. The grass was really long should get goats in to cut the grass..
otherwise a nice place

Beautiful time to go camping. My fiancé and I loved the site we chose. It was close to the water, the restrooms and the water faucet. It was pretty quiet. We can’t wait to come back! The only thing I would say is that there was no trash bin anywhere so we had to kind of walk far to through all of our trash away, but other than that we loved it!

Acorn is a great campground if you go outside the summer months. It can be very crowded during hotter weather. Some features aren’t available outside the summer as there isn’t the staffing to help. But the campground is quiet and most people who camp there are considerate and follow the rules. There is a discount if your are a senior through the federal camping discount program.

We went mid April and chose site 52. It was gorgeous- pretty wildflowers in meadows grass. Three trees stood on our site and we were right next to the side of the lake. Would definitely come back.

Was there right after gosling hatching, so there were dozens of them around all day. Also lots of deer. Great time to go (mid-April) as there were very few other campers and the place was mostly quiet except for the motorboats and jet skis. Restrooms were clean. Site was a little difficult to back into as the driveway was quite tilted and narrow. Ranger Eric was friendly and helpful.

The campground itself is nice. Bathrooms weren't too bad if you aren't expecting sparkling clean, it is camping.. however; the toilet paper was gone fast! Bring your own. The weather was horrible while there but again, that has nothing to do with the facility itself. Going back for the fireworks show in June!

Beautiful lake nice area but the area was not too level for tents. Parked the Rv it was as wide as the parking spot so there was no step down on the cement.
