The time on the water was great and this campsite had good access to a day use beach that was good for swimming and boating.

Rangers are informative and well versed in park policy
And we're cooperative in answering our questions
We reported to them a hornet sighting in the bathroom. They came out and addressed it making our stay that much more please full n safe.
The path tho to the water was ROUGH...LOL!..But when we found the day use section...well let me just say we made a afternoon of it....but there were hornets in that bathroom too....so make plans to go lite on the liquids. I have so much more good to say . But I'm gonna let you find your own experience n adventure...😃🥰🌛🌞🌎☀️☃️🌄

The pictures must be old because we were not that clise to the water. The spot we could have gotten to the water was taken by boaters and jet skiers who just sat their canopy up and left everything there. That being said there was absolutely no shade as shown in the pics. And how can i forget about the campsite right above ours who partied with their music till 3am like it was the thing to do. So much for a relaxing weekend. We couldn't even switch sites cuz there was no to talk to. We left after 1st night even though i paid for 2.

Normally I love acorn.. but we booked for one day stay at campsite 107 for my son's birthday. Normally when you stay at this campsite you have access to the private section of the beach that shared between 105 and 107. Unfortunately the people staying at 105 took up literally the entire beach. So even though we were staying at the campsite and paying to be there we had to find somewhere else to be. It was really irritating and I didn't pay money to have to find another beach. I think people should respect the campsite and share it with everyone else and not act like it's their own personal beach.

I know it is camping and you don't all the luxuries you generally would at home but come on..... can you provide some toilet paper and clean the restrooms? We have been coming here for years and I don't know what happened or what changed but we had no paper in the restrooms for our entire stay. In the area where we were staying we arrived around 11:30 Friday morning and there was just 1 roll in the women's restroom, by that evening neither stall had toilet paper. By Saturday morning there was trash all over the floor, which I get that is on the campers and their inconsideration but we all don't have to be exposed to it for the entire weekend. By the time we left Sunday no had come to clean the restroom or even attempted to stock the toilet paper that entire weekend. Who's job is it to do this? It was so nasty and it inconvenienced us by having to go into town just so we could have toilet paper.
By the way, 2 years ago was our last stay and during that time I noticed one of the bathroom stalls had a broken lock and one of the sinks did not work........ why 2 years later is it still this way? With no one camping last year I'd thought they'd put some effort into fixing things.

There were no camp host or rangers watching campground Monday thru Friday and stayed there a week had patio boat and jet ski in water and the trailers were parked in overflow at the front entrance. Random people hanging around trailers and tried to steal two tires which ruined two of my trailers lugs and hubs and rims. You can’t leave anything unattended it will get stolen beware! Not safe place! Filthy restrooms! No toilet paper! Bathrooms don’t work at launch ramp! We cleaned the campsites and dumpsters around our site. garbage man does not get all garbage after weekend crowd so we filled it up first day after garbage pick up. People left tons of garbage in campsites nobody is checking sites just a nasty mess! Nobody obeying the no wake zone or watercraft laws . Just a free for all if you like that kind of boating.

This campground is much better than Oak knoll but it also has some crazies on the weekend causing trouble. Overall it's pretty good but just watch your neighbors

The campsite was great (#2) close to entrance and a good distance in between two bathrooms and shade. Bathrooms ALWAYS need toilet paper so for sure bring your own. It was not easy to walk to the water (pretty low) but we drove to another entrance and it was lovely to float on a raft and hangout. Bring an easy up because no shade near the water. Town is really close by (in case your air mattress gets a hole like ours did).
