Nicely shaded campground. Not much separation between sites. Could feel a little crowded if full. We were the only campers there. Short walk to lakeside. Nice spot for bird watching and breakfast.

Excellent site. Clean and beautiful. Camp hosts were incredible as well. Lake was beautiful.

The camp itself is beautiful. The camp was clean, and well appointed for dry camping. Best I've ever seen. The camp host and hostess were extremely helpful, friendly, and very kind. They made the stay twice as good.
The lake is unbelievable.

The camp itself is beautiful. The camp was clean, and well appointed for dry camping. Best I've ever seen. The camp host and hostess were extremely helpful, friendly, and very kind. They made the stay twice as good.

We had a great time and the campground is wonderful however, my poor dog became infested with ticks. I have never seen so many ticks in my life! We have been home a week and even with tick medicine I am still finding them and pulling them off. I had one on the back of my head also that left a bump and soreness for several days. I had no idea the would be this bad in November. They are both the tiny deer ticks and larger wood ticks.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fees & deposits
- Show proof of payment for your campsite and pay a vehicle entrance fee.
- A vehicle entrance fee and pass are required for entry into Whiskeytown National Park.
Safety & rules
- Be aware of post-fire hazards like falling trees and branches in the park.
- Generators and loud noises are prohibited after 10 p.m.
Site types & loops
- Only self-contained vehicles are allowed for sleeping; tents are prohibited.
Fires & fuel
- Ground fires and fires in portable fire pits are prohibited.
Wildlife & food storage
- Store all food and toiletries out of sight in your vehicle to avoid attracting bears.
Pets
- Keep pets in a cage or on a leash (max 6 feet) and do not leave them unattended.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days from April 1 to October 31 and a maximum of 30 days per calendar year.
