This campground is a bit remote from Yosemite Valley, but close to a nice small grove of Sequoias. The Camp Host was very nice and helpful in suggesting hikes. the sites were nice, but some are sloped. It was very quiet and dark, great for star gazing.

It’s a really nice place to stay, but if you go in September, be prepared for cold and damp nights.

Big, flat area for tents, however there is no/minimal shade and the site is very visible from the road. Picnic table and bear locker are new and clean. There are 2 steps from the driveway, however I did not feel it was necessary to use them. The slope from the driveway to the campsite is not very steep. Site is listed as back-in, but there was a large RV parked parallel in the site across so I had to make a tight turn and drive head-in. Bathroom is close by, but requires going down the hill using stairs and has no lights.

Lovely campground and not too far from the valley. It's a lovely drive. The campground hosts were friendly and well-informed, providing valuable information. Nearby gas station and store are well stocked. Great hike nearby to the Sequoias, too. Fun to drive up to the Fire Tower, explore the tower, and meet the Helicopter crew.

This is a good spot. Fairly easy to get to, reasonable elevation, and not too far from the Valley.
Downside though, the sites are rather small and close to neighbors. Our neighbors weren't noisy, but we could hear their activities, slightly bothering seem they arrived late at night. Going to the bathroom (e.g., to get water or to clean dishes) required walking over our neighboring sites (the alternative was to follow the long loop path). Parking spots attached to sites are at an awkward and/or sharp angle that make going in or out difficult, especially since the loop path is fairly narrow.
Other things to keep in mind - bear-safe trash bins are only along the main path; no light and no trash bin in bathrooms; water from bathroom only; must buy firewood locally to use fire pit (not sure if bring-your-own charcoal is OK).
Nevertheless, a nice campground after all.
