This campground is away from many of the main attractions in Yosemite, but was nice nonetheless. There is a poorly maintained trail that runs through the campground where some in our group saw bears. The campsite was down steps and only had a small area for a tent. But, it the campsite was a fun location for the kids to play. Other reviews made it seem like this campsite backed up to a meadow, but it does not.

I really enjoyed staying at this camp site. It was very easy to find, the check in process was very self explanatory for the after hours and I felt safe staying there. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in site 513. We found the campground as described or better, and we enjoyed being able to escape the chaos of the valley every afternoon/evening.

Beautiful campground but outside the park. Electricity would have been nice to have. Nice to have a campfire pit.

Great camp site with a small meadow on the side. We enjoyed the surroundings and had a family of deer munching on the grass next to us. Beautiful location inside the park. Easy to get in and out.

Campground was nice, but bathrooms could be cleaner and add soap and thicker toilet paper roll.

Out climbing in the Valley all day, and came back to my campsite after first night only to have another family there. Did everything correctly, signed in the night before with reservation number and left a bag of charcoal in sight so they would know someone was there. Sounds like the normal camp host was gone for a couple days, and the new staff went rouge and for some unknown reason cancelled my reservation. When spoke with the OG camp host she was very apologetic and able to get me another site for the next 2 days. She was awesome and very helpfull. Hate to give a bad review, but it was pretty inconvenient to have to share a site that night. Really awkward.

The campsite was clean and room to set up two two-man tents. The campground was quiet at night.
