It’s far from the valley but it’s still a great campground

The spot was spacious and beautiful! It was somewhat sloped, but not anything that couldn't be leveled with a few blocks. Great stay.

Very much enjoyed the campground. We had a perfect walk in spot (camp ground 10) tucked away in a corner.
Only downside is the distance to the valley ~40min drive but that's not something that can be improved.

Very frustrated with spot, we couldn’t even get our truck in and had to camp outside the park

Nice campground. Facilities were clean but dated and could use renovation.

this was a very popular campground, I am glad we made reservations, it filled up very quickly. even though there were more people here it was very quiet. The bathrooms were very clean too.

Hodgdon Meadow Campground was an overall decent and correct place to stay while visiting Yosemite.
One thing to keep in mind is that the campsites are very close to each other, which can feel a bit crowded and may be disturbing if you are looking for more privacy or a quieter atmosphere. Our camper van parking spot was also quite uneven and sloped. This was mentioned on the website in advance, but it is definitely something to be prepared for when arriving. On the positive side, the restrooms were clean and well maintained, which we really appreciated. Overall, Hodgdon Meadow Campground was a fair and acceptable place to stay.
